Over the years, music became more dominant and one room in her house is filled with CDs from the floor on up. There isn't a genre she won't listen to at least once.

Heath Andrews
Heath Andrews discovered a passionate love for music at the hands of Huey Lewis & The News albums. Though not the typical starting point for a career involving music, they nonetheless inspired him to attend Ithaca College, majoring in Radio/Television. During his award-winning tenure there, he climbed to the top of the internet radio heap by hosting and producing multiple programs in the classic and modern rock fields for the station, 106VIC. Since graduating, he has swapped his microphone for a keyboard and has been writing about the music he wishes he could be playing to an audience.
Heath's writing has been featured on the websites of friends who wanted a music review section, but did not want to pay him or the domain provider and thusly may be found on the "deep web". Other writing and interviews with artists such as David Knopfler, Nils Lofgren, and Bruce Hornsby have been featured on the 106VIC website, blog, and Ithaca campus newspaper. Though Heath's time in radio was spent mostly exploring the genres of rock, his pursuit of avoiding overplayed songs brought him to the fringes of the music industry and back again, picking up a love for and knowledge of music of various types, from country and blues to jazz/fusion and gospel. Currently working in a casino as a credit representative, Heath spends his time away from the office in search of more and more music to engage his ears, and critical muscle in.
Heath Reviews: Pop, Power Pop, Pop-Rock, Country, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Gospel, Rock (in its myriad forms), Jazz, Fusion, Singer-Songwriter, Anything influenced by New Wave, Spoken word, Comedy, and Synthpop (if anyone ever decides to record some again).

Matt Johnson
My name is Matt, I have been writing about music, off and on, for about 3 or four years now, exclusively on the internet. I've written about stuff from several different genres from rock to country to goth to club music. I've always enjoyed listening to music, remember how when you were young (or maybe you're still young) and you would lock yourself in your room for hours listening to music, the radio or a new album you just bought? well, I'm in my 30's and I still do that. I just can't get enough of good moving music.

Mike Ososki
The 1964 Beatles appear on Ed Sullivan, and a 7-year old boy's heart melts. Thus officially began Michael's love affair with music. Naturally, many guitars and bands followed, spanning weekend cover gigs in the Midwest, to songwriting and publishing in California.
Now in Atlanta, Mike composes nearly every day, and works with MIDI technology to digitally flesh out his pieces. Live performances at Atlanta Botanical Garden and other venues also help keep the fingers limber.
With Mike O's 110% reviewer rating on over 800-songs at garageband.com/user/MikeOso, his commentary has proven invaluable to help encourage and advance the artistic accomplishments of many an aspiring music creator. Mike's specialties include rock and pop, subgenres and derivatives thereof, and anything that favors a melodic songwriting focus.

Scott Homewood
Born right outside Buffalo, New York but residing in Charlotte, North Carolina for the past fifteen years, freelance music writer Scott Homewood has had music in his blood since singing along with the AM radio in his parent's car at the age of three, taking drum lessons at the age of seven, and guitar lessons in his teens in the dingy basement of a music store near his home. Since that humble beginning, Scott has continued to pursue his love of music both as a performer in many bands during his youth (there are albums with his name on them floating around the Western New York area but he disavows all of them!) and currently as a journalist. Scott's acquiring of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism (which he has put to good use as a much-published music critic and interviewer) has enabled him to have the career in the music business his mediocre songwriting skills would have never allowed. Scott's writing has been published in newspapers such as the Niagara Gazette; Buffalo Evening News; Charlotte Observer's Break; The Leader; and Creative Loafing among others, regional and national magazine publications such as Living Blues; Paste; No Depression; Skope; etc and websites including rockandrollreport.com; cdreviews.com; blogcritics.com; ampseleven.com; lostinthegrooves.com as well as many others.Scott Homewood has steadfastly stuck to his life's mission of interviewing his musical heroes (Zombies lead singer Colin Blunstone and a phoner with both Rod Stewart and Ron Wood to promote The Faces box set being highpoints among many) and telling the world about new bands and artists while advising the music-buying public how best to spend their hard earned music-buying dollars.

Rod Ames
I love just about all forms of music, but mainly indie to experimental rock along with blues and Americana. I have lived in Texas nearly all of my life and am a fan of Texas Country, but that particular music form has become somewhat diluted. The good thing about its downward spiral is it has become more challenging to find the good stuff. The main thing here is I love music, am a frustrated musician (I cant play an instrument, I can sing a little), I love to listen to music and I love discovering new music. It is my passion.
Im the entertainment editor for an all online newspaper called The Texas Star Tribune www.texasstartribune.com. I have been writing for them for about a year. I never saw this coming though. A friend of mine, an author, and our managing editor, noticed some writing ability and encouraged me to write for him. I immediately fell in love with it and have written 30-40 articles or cd reviews since. I wrote a 5 part piece about the grunge period of rock during the nineties as my inaugural piece. Ive been working some to help get Doug Sahm inducted into the R N R Hall of Fame plus I work in a drug treatment center to pay the bills. I am also working on a novel at this time.s.
Rod Reviews: blues, indie-rock, low-fi, experimental rock, and Americana.

Dan MacIntosh
I've been a professional music journalist for 26 years and my work has regularly appeared in many local and national publications, including CCM, CMJ, Paste, Mean Street, Chord, HM, Christian Retailing, Amplifier, Inspirational Giftware, and Country Standard Time as well as Spin.com. I'm an expert in Christian and country music, but I'm also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to most every kind of rock. Furthermore, I've been through a few heavy reggae and jazz phases during my music listening history, so I can hold my own with the best world music and jazz snobs. In addition to reviewing CDs, I regularly write artist features and biographies. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications, emphasis Public Relations. I live in Bellflower, CA, "The friendly city," and my day job is with a software company located in Los Angeles, CA. I play a little guitar, badly, but I'm getting better. My wife regularly complains about my huge CD collection, but this doesn't stop me from stacking disc towers higher and higher.
